Good morning! It feels like Friday today, but we still have another day to go. I hope you guys are enjoying your morning. Every day that we open our eyes and breath, we can find reasons to be optimistic. God remembered us. Had He not, then you and I wouldn’t be here today. But thankfully we’re still in God’s thoughts.

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:22-23

God’s mercy is new every morning. I’m not sure how your day was yesterday. Was it good or bad? I don’t know. But this morning we have the refreshing news of knowing that God has given us a new opportunity. A new opportunity to correct our wrongs and to seek Him more. Perhaps yesterday wasn’t your best day, but the rising of the sun gives us hope of a new opportunity.

God woke us up this morning with a purpose. None of us are here out of pure coincidence. Your life is not insignificant. No matter your background, ethnicity, age, nationality, social class, you are special to God. Each one of us is unique before God’s eyes and He cares deeply about us in a deep, personal way.

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. – Matthew 5:45

The sun rises for the just and unjust says the Bible. But, there’s good news for all; today, God’s mercy is new. God has given us a new opportunity to seek Him and devote our lives to our Creator. There is no sin too great that God can’t forgive, nor valley too deep that He can’t rescue you from. If you’re alive today, rejoice, because God remembered you.
