In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. – Job 12:10

This is our nightly reminder, that our lives are in His hands. I don’t know where you find yourself this evening. I know that my life isn’t perfect. I’m dealing with changes at work but I’m also dealing with problems in my personal life. In the end we can find comfort in God’s word when He says that the soul of every living thing is in His hands.

Again, I don’t know what you’re going through. But I know someone that does. His name is God. God knows exactly what we’re going through and He wants us to know that we are in His hands. Don’t worry. Our lives are in the hands of the Creator of heaven and earth. Surely, this should give us a sense of peace and comfort, knowing that our lives are in the hands of Him who is above all things.

The times can be scary sometimes. I too, get scared from time to time. Not only are we dealing with the current world we live in, but we’re still dealing with the problems in our everyday life. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when we take all this into consideration. But these are moments where we have to strengthen our faith and our convictions. We’ve believed in God this far. Why don’t we use this time to solidify our faith and plant our feet firmly over the rock that is Jesus Christ?

We need to live our days with the conviction that we are not alone. Our lives are secured in the hands that made us. When we believe this truth, we can confidently face our fears and problems. No matter what we go through, the Bible says that it works together for good. We always have to think positively and remember that our lives are in His hands.
