God Is Bigger Than Any Problem

Revival in Christ, God is bigger than any problem, facing your giants, conquering giants, David vs Goliath, Christian message, Christian living, facing your fears, christian blogger

One thing that caught my attention this past Sunday at church was when my Pastor talked about the difference in size between David and Goliath. The world looked at David as a small, young man who tended sheep. Goliath, on the other hand, was seen as a giant who was raised in violence. The problem was big in the eyes of many, but God was bigger than the problem.

God looks at our situations much different than we do. For us a problem can look like Goliath; mighty in size and terrible in nature. But God sees differently and that’s good news. As everyone looked on at the battle about to ensue between David and Goliath, it was evident to the eye that the odds were in Goliath’s favor.

But how good is our God? God wasn’t intimidated by the size of Goliath. Nor did he look at him as some invincible giant. For God, Goliath was small and David was great, and capable of defeating the threat before him. That’s how God sees our situation today. The way He saw David and Goliath differently is how He sees us as well.

God is bigger than any problem. There’s no problem that God can’t solve. The giants of the world pale in comparison to the size and grandeur of God. Before the Lord, problems are small, while ordinary men who dare believe in God, are strong and capable of overcoming giants. There is nothing impossible for God. Your problem has a solution. Your giant can be conquered.

Today God has given us the same power and authority that He gave David that day in the battlefield. David didn’t have an armor, but he was equipped by the Spirit. That’s all we need in these days. We shouldn’t worry about what’s in our fridge or how much money we have in the bank. As long as we have God in our hearts, there’s no giant that can overcome us.
