Welcome to Revival in Christ! I hope you’re having a great day. God is good regardless of our circumstances or how we are feeling in the moment. God’s goodness, His nature isn’t dependent on us, our emotions, or our circumstances. God is good all the time. Today I want to encourage you to continue praising God. The Bible explicitly says that, “Everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! – Psalm 150:6

Psalm 150:6 is not simply encouragement, it’s a command. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” The Bible doesn’t say, “Praise God if you did good today. Praise God if you feel good today.” No. It says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” It’s easy to praise God when life is good. When we have money in the bank, a good job, a home. It’s easy to praise God when everything feels and seems right. It’s when everything seems to be falling apart that our faith begins to be tested. But that’s where God wants to take us. He wants us to praise Him at all times.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.- Romans 8:28

The Bible gives us hope that all things work together for good. Perhaps you’re going through a difficult time. I want to remind you that God loves you and that He hasn’t changed. The same God that was with you in your seasons of joy and abundance is the same God that is with you in your times of hardship and scarcity. God doesn’t change simply because you entered a difficult time. On the contrary, that’s where we realize just how faithful and unchanging He truly is.

I know it’s not easy to praise during difficult times. I know it’s hard to praise when we feel bad for sinning. When we feel like hypocrites or because of the circumstances we go through. But we have to remember that God’s word is the truth and His word is above all things. God is calling us to a life of praise and commitment. A commitment to praise Him regardless of what we’re feeling or going through.

An American Lung Association article states that at rest, a normal respiratory rate for an adult is from 12 to 20 breaths per minute. So far I have written over 400 words and WordPress is telling me that this post can be read in about 2 minutes. Personally, it would probably take me longer. But in that time we have already taken at least 24 to 40 breaths. I don’t know you or your circumstances but what I do know is that the Bible says that everything that has breath praise the Lord.

I hope this post can encourage you to praise God even in your difficult times. God is good and His mercy is everlasting. Revival in Christ is my way of spreading the Gospel. Jesus saved me when I didn't have anything to offer Him. Even now, He still has mercy on me. The most I can do is live for Him and share Him with others.
